WP3: Applications and Environmental Fate of BIO2PHIM: From Bio-pesticides to Agricultural Bio-control
In wok package WP3 led by SYENSQO, we strive to maximize the effectiveness and sustainability of BIO2PHIM based pesticides. The industrial beneficiary SYENSQO is experienced in formulating bacteria into polysaccharide solutions and gels. Our key goals include:
- Targeted Protection – Identifying and enhancing biopesticides to ensure they work effectively against specific pests, including careful selection and potential genetic improvements of microorganisms.
- Better Application Methods – Reducing pesticide loss due to wind drift and washing off, making application more efficient and environmentally friendly.
- Environmental Monitoring – Tracking how our formulations interact with plants and soil to assess their long-term impact on the environment.
By working closely with research teams From WP 1 and WP2 and continuously refining our approach, we aim to develop the most effective and sustainable solutions.
